FARE THE WELL...SEE THE TOUCHING MESSAGE THE PRESIDENT WROTE TO THE FAMILIES OF THE KU TWINS INVOLVED IN ROAD ACCIDENT


The kenyatta university president and the president of the country have had their take on what have been happening on our roads and thence they all expressed their views.Here is what the president of kenyatta university said followed by president Uhuru.

Kenyatta University Students Association (KUSA) President Were Were will be leading a candle vigil for the two students (Mary Wanjiru and Vinna Isoe). The students were part of a group that was travelling to Magena, Kisii, to attend a party they had nicknamed White Elephant. ‘Kisii twasija’ (Kisii here we come) was the last message David Sagini received from Dorothy Nyakerario, who is among students who died in the ill-fated Kisii accident. The 8:30pm text message on WhatsApp platform had added: “I am feeling so high going back to my home town.” But this was never to be as 30 kilometres to Kisii,

Dorothy, or Doro-Hot as she was fondly referred to by Sagini, died in a fatal accident that claimed lives of five other university students and her close friend Mary Wanjiru. Sagini was in constant communication with his two classmates all through the journey, courtesy of Doro-Hot whom he described as social and very friendly. “They posted photos of the group in Mai Mahiu and they kept us in the loop all through until around 9pm on Thursday when the messages stopped going through,” said Sagini, a classmate.
