ODM BREAKS DOWN TO PIECES AS RAILA AND NAMWAMBA HOLD PARALLEL MEETINGS
Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) principal Raila Odinga is doind all he can to keep up his fame in Western Kenya.
The previous prime minister, on Wednesday, July 6, held a meeting with various MPs from the western region.
“Meeting with 13 elected Members of Parliament from the Luhya community in Capitol Hill to discuss my upcoming extensive tour of Western Kenya and other political issues pertinent to the region,” he updated on his Facebook page.
The MPs were driven by Emuhaya's Wilbur Ottichilo and Shinyalu's Silverse Anami.
Different MPs at the meeting were: Florence Mutua (Busia), Johnson Naika (Mumias West), Geoffrey Odanga (Matayos), Dorcas Kedogo (Vihiga) and Nancy Abisai (East African Legislative Assembly).
The meeting and arranged visit are seen as a move to address the developing disobedience by individuals from Raila's Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) from Western Kenya.
